Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.

On April 26, 2026, at approximately 6:45 a.m., members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint regarding an ongoing incident involving a person and their former partner at a residence in the County of Brant.

As a result of the investigation, a 53-year-old individual from The town of Paris was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, on May 21, 2026.
