Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) made its fourth quarter payment, totaling $1,102,466, to the City of Brantford for hosting Elements Casino Brantford.
During OLG’s fiscal year (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026), Brantford has received $4,718,169. Since the gaming site opened in November 1999, Brantford has received $110,874,047.
These payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
“OLG shares revenues with host municipalities to help them invest in the local programs, services and infrastructure that communities rely on,” said Stan Cho, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming. “These payments are part of our government’s commitment to strengthen municipalities and local economies, reinvesting revenues from Elements Casino Brantford to help to protect services and priorities that matter most.”
Since 1994, host communities have received almost $2.4 billion in non-tax gaming revenue.
