Two arrested after Six Nations Police recover stolen vehicle

Six Nations Police located a vehicle that was reported stolen in the area of Third  Line and Mohawk Road at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026.

As police arrived on scene the stolen vehicle fled.  Police located a second stolen vehicle and a male on the property. Police were able to successfully follow the initial stolen vehicle to the area of First Line and  Mohawk Road. The stolen vehicle was disabled after striking multiple police vehicles. The male driver was arrested and taken into police custody.  

As a result of the investigation, Jeffrey Lee Martin (45-years-old) of Ohsweken,  Ontario has been arrested and is charged with the following Criminal Code  offences: 

– Flight from Police 

– Dangerous Driving 

– Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 

– Operation Motor Vehicle While Prohibited X6 

– Assault with a Weapon x3 

The male that was located on scene was identified as Myles James Monture (22-years-old) of Ohsweken, Ontario has been arrested and is charged with the following Criminal Code offences: 

– Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 X 2 

Both of the accused individuals were remanded into police custody.
