A driver is facing Careless Driving charges after police were called to a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus.

Brant County OPP were called to Bishopsgate Road between Fifth Concession Road and Golf Links Road in the County of Brant to investigate a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus transporting 30 children at approximately 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026,

The police investigation determined that a 43-year-old driver from St. George, Ontario, has been charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

All passengers aboard the school bus were assessed and found to be uninjured, and the at‑fault driver also did not sustain any serious injuries.
