Brant OPPTwo dead, five injured after multi-vehicle crash in Brant County

Two people are dead and five others are in hospital following a serious three-vehicle crash in Brant County Friday afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police were called around 12:30 p.m. to Colborne Street East between McBay and Langford Church roads, where a minivan, pickup truck and SUV collided.

In a social media post, OPP Sgt. Ed Sanchuk says the 38-year-old driver and 16-year-old passenger of the minivan suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Sanchuk says the driver and three occupants of the SUV, and the driver of the pickup truck were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
