Kitchener resident facing Stunt Driving charges

Brant OPPKitchener resident facing Stunt Driving charges

A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Puttown Road in the County of Brant after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed at approximately 2:25 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling at a speed of approximately110 km/h in a posted 70 km/h speed zone.

As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old driver from Kitchener has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 50 km/h over the posted speed of 60 km/h Zone

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.
