Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.
On February 11, 2026, Brant County OPP responded to a report of an altercation at a residence in the Town of Paris in the County of Brant at approximately 7:27 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with one count of Assault – Spousal.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
