Six Nations Police seize drugs after investigation

CrimeSix Nations Police seize drugs after investigation

Six Nations Police Drug Enforcement Unit concluded a drug trafficking investigation on Wednesday January 14, 2026.

Police executed a Section 11 Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a motel located on Colborne Street in Brantford. 

Three people were arrested, and a search was conducted resulting in the seizure of:

• Approximately 122 grams of cocaine 

• Approximately 74 grams of fentanyl 

• Approximately 23 grams of methamphetamine 

• Approximately 87 Hydromorphone pills 

• Approximately 80 Alprazolam (Benzodiazepine) pills 

• Currency, cell phones and drug packaging materials. 

As a result of the investigation,  

Kaya Folland (34) of Brantford, Ontario is charged with: 

• CDSA 5(2) Possession for the purposes of trafficking x6 

• CC 354(1) Possession-under $5000 (Proceeds) 

• CC 733.1(1) Breach-probation: CC-Dual x2 

• CC 145(5)(a) Fail to comply with release order-other than to attend court: CC-Dual x5 

Cory Blackey (51) of Brantford, Ontario is charged with: 

• CDSA 5(2) Possession for the purposes of trafficking x6 

• CC 354(1) Possession-under $5000 (Proceeds) 

Katie Bangay (37) Brantford, Ontario is charged with: 

• CDSA 5(2) Possession for the purposes of trafficking x6 

• CC 354(1) Possession-under $5000 (Proceeds) 

All accused were held in custody pending formal bail hearings
