Brant OPPBrant OPP investigating after shots fired in Paris

Members from the Brant County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a shooting that occurred in Paris. 

Brant County OPP officers received a report of a weapons complaint at approximately 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

It was determined that unknown individuals, attended an address on Heming Street in a dark colored sports utility vehicle (SUV), and fired several rounds from a firearm, striking the residence and vehicle parked in the driveway causing damage. There were no injuries reported. This is believed to be an isolated incident.

The Brant County Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is asking residents that live on Heming Street and surrounding side street with video surveillance systems to check their footage to see if they captured the vehicles or suspects involved.
