Six Nations Police investigating armed robbery

CrimeSix Nations Police investigating armed robbery

Six Nations Police would like to make the public aware of an incident that took place in the village of Ohsweken on November 14, 2025.  

Six Nations Police were advised on an armed robbery call at a local business on Chiefswood Road at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025.

When police arrived on scene, they were advised that a male individual wearing a camouflage hoodie, with a dark coloured toque and balaclava, came into  the store brandishing a firearm. The individual also had a flashlight on top of his head. The individual left with approximately $1,000 in cash.

With the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police K9 Unit and the Emergency Response Team (ERT), members of the community were asked to avoid the area while officers investigated. Police learned that the suspect fled the area prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported because of this incident and the investigation remains on going.
