22-year-old facing Stunt Driving and Speeding charges

A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 403 East, west of Bishopsgate Road after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025.

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 167 km/h in a posted 110 km/h zone.

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old driver from Mississauga has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 167 km/h in a 110 km/h Zone
  • Fail To Surrender Permit For Motor Vehicle

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.

Brant OPP arrest male for Theft

Brant County OPP arrested a 45-year-old male for possession of stolen property at approximately 4:49 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

The male was also in contravention of a probation order and had an outstanding arrest warrant with Brant County OPP. Brant County OPP charged the male with the following charges:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Under $5000.00
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order 

The male was released on a Adult Undertaking with a promise to appear in Brantford Court on the 28 of November 2025, to answer to the charges.

Brantford man arrested for Impaired Driving

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, at approximately 12:44 a.m., a member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop after observing erratic driving behavior on the 403 West Off Ramp at Wayne Gretzky Parkway in Brant County.

Upon speaking to the male driver, police administered an approved roadside screening device test which resulted in a “fail”.

Following a police investigation, Godwill Forsack TAMBONG a 39-year-old male of Brantford, was taken into custody and charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
  • Dangerous Operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on October 10, 2025.
