Two individuals have been arrested and charged following separate impaired driving-related incidents. 

Six Nations Police responded to an impaired traffic complaint on Third Line at approximately 5:32 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Police arrived on scene and located a male sleeping on a lawnmower on the roadway. Signs of impairment were observed on the male. 

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Curtis Miller (59-years-old) of  Ohsweken, Ontario with the following criminal offences:  

– Impaired Operation 

– Failure or Refusal to Comply 

– Operation while Prohibited 

– Driving while under Suspension x 2 

– Assault Peace Officer 

The accused was held in custody pending a formal bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario.  

Six Nations Police were advised of another traffic complaint, this time on Chiefswood Road at approximately 8:32 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2025.

Police located the vehicle and observed a male asleep in the driver’s seat of the motor vehicle. Signs of impairment were observed on the individual. 

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Zachary Logan (36-years-old) of  Ohsweken, Ontario with the following criminal offences: 

– Impaired Operation 

– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus” 

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario on a later  date.
