For those looking to get a different view of our region, residents should look into securing a unique opportunity to see Brantford, the County of Brant, and Six Nations of the Grand River from 1,000 feet in the air.

The Brant Beacon team had this very opportunity late last week and it was an exceptionally breathtaking experience. Flying over most of our region including Paris, St. George, Brantford, Oakland, Scotland and Burford, the view provided a special aerial perspective of the place we call home.

A big thank you to Luke Wilson, Chief Pilot and Operations Manager, and Bev Hoekman Assistant Manager for HR, Marketing, Accounting and Student Services for arranging the flight. As well, we offer our sincerest gratitude to our pilot Remy Lavoie. Between your decade of experience, your attention to detail and your kindness, it was truly an unforgettable experience.

For those interested in getting a birds-eye view of our beautiful region, residents should reach out to the wonderful staff at the Brantford Flight Centre for your very own sight-seeing tour.

The Brantford Flying Club has been providing quality flight training in Brantford, Ontario since 1929. As one of the oldest flight training schools in Canada, they have successfully helped thousands of students get their Private Pilot Licence (PPL), Recreational Pilot Permit, and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) for over 90 years.
