Brant OPPBrant County OPP charge Ohsweken man after traffic stop

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment has charged an individual following a traffic stop in Brant County.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on Old Greenfield Road at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2025.

Through investigation, it was determined that the driver was operating a motor vehicle while disqualified and under suspension.

As a result, Dallas WILLIAMS, a 49-year-old male from Ohsweken, has been charged with:

  • Operate a Conveyance while Prohibited X 8, contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Driving while under suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

The OPP reminds all motorists of the importance of ensuring they are properly licensed before operating a motor vehicle.
