Ancaster woman facing charges after collision in Burford

Brant OPPAncaster woman facing charges after collision in Burford

members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-motor vehicle collision on King Street, east of Maple Avenue in Burford, Ontario at approximately 10:21 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025.

Upon police arrival an approved roadside screening device test was administered, which resulted in a “fail”.

Following a police investigation Shazia MONTGOMERY a 34-year-old female of Ancaster, was taken into custody and charged with the following offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on October 03, 2025.
