Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing to investigate an attempted robbery at a financial institution on Grand River Street North in the Town of Paris and are re-appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect.

The incident occurred on June 6, 2025, at approximately 2:20 p.m. when an unknown male entered the business and made a demand to an employee. The suspect left the premises on foot without obtaining any items.

Despite ongoing efforts, the identity of the suspect remains unknown. Investigators are again asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time or who may have home or business surveillance footage to come forward. This includes residences and businesses near William Street, Broadway Street West, and West River Street.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, dark complexion
  • Thin build
  • Black wavy hair
  • Black beard and mustache
  • Last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jogging pants, and black running shoes
