A Brantford woman is facing several charges following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 24 at Burford-Delhi Townline in the County of Brant.
Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision at approximately 3:42 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
Emergency services attended the scene and both drivers were assessed by paramedics. No serious injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and transported one of the drivers for further testing.
Linsay Way, 38 years old, of Brantford, has been charged with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous operation
- Change lane – not in safety
- Fail to surrender driver’s licence
- Fail to surrender insurance card
- Fail to notify change of address
- Fail to notify change of address
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
A 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were also issued.
