Culture Days is returning this fall and the County of Brant will once again serve as a “Festival Hub” location.

Event registration is now open, and funding opportunities are available to assist local contributors in their Culture Days programs.

Culture Days, happening nationwide from September 19 to October 12, 2025, celebrates arts, culture, and heritage, providing communities with opportunities to appreciate diverse artistic expressions and connect. The County of Brant has been selected as one of sixteen Ontario Culture Days “Festival Hubs”. Details on specific Hub date programming will be shared in the coming weeks.

“We’re excited to once again be participating in Culture Days celebrations,” said David Bailey, Mayor for the County of Brant. “We are also proud to once again be selected as a Festival Hub, building on the success of last year’s celebrations.”

Registration for Culture Days is now open. Interested participants can visit www.brant.ca/CultureDays to find a link to create an account and submit their event through the Culture Days website.

For the third consecutive year, the County of Brant will provide funding opportunities for organizations and individuals to support their Culture Days programs. This funding aims to empower creatives of all backgrounds to enhance their communities with unique experiences. Organizations and individuals interested in funding can find more information and submit applications through the County of Brant website.

Applicants could receive up to $1000 in funding. The application for funding is now open and the deadline to apply is Monday, July 7, 2025.

“We’re happy to continue supporting our local creators through this funding,” said Mayor Bailey. “We encourage creatives from across the County of Brant to take advantage of this opportunity and showcase their talents during this year’s Culture Days.”
