21-year-old facing Speeding and Stunt Driving charges

Brant OPP21-year-old facing Speeding and Stunt Driving charges

Members of the Brant County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Shellard Lane in relation to a vehicle observed travelling at a speed nearly double the posted limit at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025,

The driver, a 21-year-old male from Brantford, was stopped without incident. As a result of the investigation, he has been charged with:

  • Stunt Driving 
  • Speeding 

The driver was issued a summons to appear in court on June 24, 2025, in Brantford. A driver’s licence suspension and vehicle impoundment were also issued under the applicable legislation.
