Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC) announced that it has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies by Deloitte Canada for 2025 on Monday, May 12, 2025.

This is the sixth year SNGRDC has received the prestigious designation. The Best Managed Companies program, presented annually by Deloitte Canada, is one of the country’s most respected business awards, celebrating excellence in privately-owned Canadian companies. Hundreds of organizations undergo a rigorous evaluation process each year, with only the top-performing businesses earning the designation.

“Being named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 2025, especially as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, is a tremendous honour,” said Matt Jamieson, President and CEO of SNGRDC. “This recognition affirms our value as an Indigenous employer and trusted business partner.”

Applicants are assessed across four key pillars: Strategy, Capabilities and Innovation, Culture and Commitment, and Governance and Financials. SNGRDC’s continued recognition reflects its ongoing commitment to operational excellence and community prosperity.

“I am tremendously thankful for our dedicated team, whose commitment to the Six Nations community drives our success,” added Jamieson. “This achievement is the result of their hard work and determination. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished over the past decade and look forward to building on this momentum for the years ahead.”
