Six Nations Police arrested and charged an individual from Oakville for attempting to obstruct an ongoing investigation.  

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at approximately 2:45 p.m., while the Six Nations Police were maintaining scene security at a residence on Chiefswood Road, officers observed a vehicle located in the driveway with the tires deflated.

Police were advised that the driver of the vehicle used a sharp-edged knife to deflate the tires on the vehicle, intentionally blocking the entrance way. Police located the driver at the scene and the male was placed under arrest.  

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Francois Cadieux (47-years-old) from Oakville, Ontario with the following criminal offences:

– Obstruct Peace Officer  

The accused was held in custody pending a formal bail hearing.
