OPP charge County resident with Impaired Operation

Brant OPPOPP charge County resident with Impaired Operation

One individual was arrested and is facing charges after the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint on Rest Acres Road at approximately 4:58 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Members of the Brant County OPP received a traffic complaint call from a concerned citizen. The vehicle was located, and the investigation by officers resulted in charges.

Jason Pew, 54-years-old of the County of Brant, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on May 9, 2025.
