Six Nations of the Grand River Economic Development Trust (EDT) announced an additional $457,944.53 in funding is available for community investment in 2025 for general applications on Monday, March 31, 2025.
This is a result of annual distributions of surplus profits from the operations of the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC).
This round of funding will be available to general applicants only. Applications will be released on www.sixnationsedt.ca on April 4, 2025. The final application deadline is April 25, 2025, at 4:00pm. Applicant presentations to SNGRDC’s Board of Directors’ EDT Committee will take place on June 14, 2025, in the SNGRDC Boardroom (2498 Chiefswood Road).
Organizations that are eligible to apply for general funding include those that have regular employees, a Board of Directors, and audited financial statements.
Since 2016, the EDT has invested over $24 million into the Six Nations community. The EDT’s funding is made possible through annual distributions of surplus profits from SNGRDC.
