Happy Holidays from the Brant Beacon

ChristmasHappy Holidays from the Brant Beacon

The most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner but, once again, it has been disrupted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

A time to be together is now a time to be apart. Memories of Christmas past draw us together, though the deadly virus keeps us apart.

Those memories will sustain us through this challenging time, so we can be together for next Christmas, and the one after that.

Creatively, we can celebrate this year with technology, things like Google Meet, Zoom and video phone calls. We could even consider hand written and hand delivered Christmas cards to family and friends living nearby.

So enjoy the true spirit of the season in a new way this year and perhaps back to the traditional celebration of the holidays next year.

On behalf of all us at the Brant Beacon, I would like to wish all of our readers a very Merry Christmas and a happy, safe and prosperous New Year.
