Thieves target Brant County home under construction

Brant OPPThieves target Brant County home under construction

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence under construction on McLean School Road in the County of Brant on Monday December 22, 2024.

Some time between December 19, 2024, and December 20, 2024, unknown person(s) forcibly gained entry to the home and removed a Honda generator and a quantity of tools.

On Tuesday December 23, 2024, a theft was reported at the same location. Some time between December 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. and December 23, 2024 at 10 a.m., unknown person(s) attended the address and removed a flat bed trailer from the property. 

The total value of stolen property is approximately $29000.

The investigation is ongoing. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the County of Brant OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
