Police have arrested and charged one individual after a complaint was received about a suspicious person.  

Six Nations  Police received information about a suspicious person on 3rd Line at approximately 3:10 a.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2024. The individual approached a residence and knocked on the door. The complainant observed the male party approach a vehicle that was parked on the roadway at the end of the laneway. The male was occupying the driver’s seat of the motor vehicle. The complainant advised that while calling emergency services, the vehicle ended up in the ditch. No other occupants were observed in the area. When police arrived  on scene, officers located the lone male in the area. Signs of impairment were  observed on the male.  

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Craig Hill (55  years old) of Ohsweken, Ontario with the following offences: 

– Impaired Operation 

– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus”  

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario on January 9, 2025. The vehicle was impounded for seven days and his driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.
