After receiving a noise complaint about loud music and a motor vehicle revving the engine, an Ohsweken resident has been arrested and  charged.  

Six Nations Police were advised of a noise complaint on 6th Line Road at approximately 3:35 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Officers made patrols in the area and located the suspected vehicle. Police approached the vehicle to speak with the occupants about the complaint that had been received. A single male exited the driver’s side of the motor vehicle and approached police. Signs of impairment were observed on the male.  

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Thomas WORME (34-years-old) of Ohsweken, ON with the following criminal offences:

– Impaired Operation 

– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus” 

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario on November 22, 2024. The vehicle was impounded for seven days and the accused had his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
