Brantford resident facing several charges after traffic stop

Brant OPPBrantford resident facing several charges after traffic stop

One individual is facing several charges after a member with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment initiated a traffic stop.

An officer with Brant County OPP initiated the traffic stop on Newport Road in the County of Brant at approximately 12:12 p.m. on Tuesday September 10, 2024.

The officer observed the vehicle driving on Cockshutt Road and initiated the traffic stop to confirm valid licencing and vehicle registration.

Jordan HAULEY, 30-years-old from Brantford is charged with the following offences:

·      Adult Resist Peace Officer

·      Adult Use plate not authorized for vehicle

·      Adult Driving while under suspension

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
