Police are investigating a three-vehicle collision on the outskirts of Dunnville that resulted in one fatality.

Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment, along with the Haldimand County Fire Department and Haldimand County Paramedic Services, responded to a collision involving a minivan, pickup truck, and sedan on Haldimand Road 17 in Dunnville at approximately 5:27 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

As a result, the driver of the sedan, a 33-year-old Brantford, Ontario resident, was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, where they were later pronounced deceased.

The driver of the pickup truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
