Crime21-year-old man charged with Breaking and Entering, Uttering Threats
On Saturday, November 27, 2021, at approximately 3:15 a.m., the Brantford Police Service received a call to attend a residence located on Osborne Avenue in regards to a break and enter that had just occurred.
The victim arrived home, to find her front door broken and a male standing inside. The male uttered threats and left on foot. The resident was not physically injured during the incident.
Police attended and through investigation, were able to identify the suspect. The Brantford Police Service K-9 unit assisted to track the suspect to a nearby residence where he was located and subsequently arrested. 
As a result of this investigation, Keenan Daniel BARNES, 21, of Brantford, stands charged with the following Criminal Code offences: 
  • Break and Enter with Intent  
  • Uttering Threats

The accused was held for bail.
