The Stanley Cup is coming to Six Nations of the Grand River on Wednesday, July 24, 2024

Brandon Montour, who won the cup with the Florida Panthers last month, will be bringing Lord Stanley’s Mug home for a celebration.

“We are very proud of Brandon and his accomplishments,” Chief Sherri-Lyn Hill said in a statement. “We’re glad Brandon is sharing his day with Six Nations.”

A celebration will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Six Nations Sports and Cultural Memorial Arena.

Montour will share the Cup with his hometown during a parade, which will begin at the Ohsweken Speedway and end at the Memorial Arena.

Before and during the event, roads will be closed from 5th Line to the intersection of 4th Line and Chiefswood Road, and to Lawrence Jonathan Lane. One lane will be open for emergency services.
