Officers arrested a driver for Impaired Operation after observing the vehicle operating below the posted speed limit and crossing the  centre line several times.  

Officers with the Six Nations Police were travelling on Cayuga Road when they observed the vehicle at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Officers performed a traffic stop of the vehicle. Both the driver and passenger  admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages that evening. A roadside Approved  Screening Device Demand was issued, to which the driver was compliant. As a  result of the investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Susan WILLIAMS (63 years  old) of Ohsweken, ON was arrested and charged with the following Criminal  Code offence: 

– Impaired Operation 

The accused was later released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court  of Justice in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
