Police in Six Nations of the Grand River are asking for Ontario Provincial Police’s help with an investigation into a body that was found on the reserve earlier this month.

OPP say a body was found around 5:15 p.m. on April 12 on 2nd Line near Chiefswood Road.

Officers say they believe there is no risk to public safety.

Residents in the area can expect to see an increased police presence as the investigation continues.
