Brant OPP24-year-old Cambridge resident facing Stunt Driving charges

A Cambridge resident is facing charges following a traffic stop on Brant Road in the County of Brant.

A member of the Brant Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting radar enforcement on Brant Road at approximately 4:36 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024.

The officer observed a motor vehicle travelling at 137km/h in a posted 80km/h zone.

As a result of the traffic stop, a 24-year-old Cambridge resident has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:

–      Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed

–      Speeding 50+ km/h Over Posted Speed Limit

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on April 9, 2024, to answer to the charges.
