Brant County resident facing Operation while Impaired charges

Brant OPPBrant County resident facing Operation while Impaired charges

A Brant County resident is facing charges following a traffic stop in Paris, Ontario.

Members of the Brant Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting general patrol when they observed suspicious driving behaviour at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Upon speaking to the driver of the vehicle officers had a reason to believe that the driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to detachment for further testing.

Steven DRAGOS, 34-years-old of Brant County, has been charged with the following:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)
  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on March 21, 2024.
