 A 59-year-old from the City of Burlington is facing charges after Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint in the County of Brant Saturday morning.

An officer with the Brant County OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 403 in the County of Brant at approximately 6:52 a.m. on Saturday December 9, 2023.

A motorist observed driving behaviour that caused them concern and contacted police. Police located the vehicle where one person was arrested and transported to Brant County detachment for testing.

Police have charged 59-year-old Richard J STONER, from Burlington with the following offence:

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). 

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
