Brant OPP seek suspects in attempted vehicle theft

Brant OPPBrant OPP seek suspects in attempted vehicle theft

Police are seeking the public’s help with information on the attempted theft of a vehicle parked at a business on Brant Road early Thursday morning.

On Friday August 4, 2023, Brant County OPP members responded to a reported theft attempt at a commercial business on Brant Road.

A customer had dropped off their vehicle at the business and, at approximately 3:10 a.m. Thursday morning, three to four suspects attended the property, attempting to gain entry to the vehicle which was towing construction equipment. After five unsuccessful minutes, the suspects removed some property from the victim’s vehicle and left the scene in their newer model light-coloured Ford F150 FX4 Crew Cab.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the County of Brant OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
