26-year-old Brantford man facing Stunt Driving charges

Brant OPP26-year-old Brantford man facing Stunt Driving charges

A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on 24 Highway north of Colborne Street West after observing a vehicle travelling at an excessive rate of speed at approximately 1:32 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

The officer was conducting speed enforcement in the area when a vehicle was observed travelling 139 km/h in a posted 80 km/h posted speed zone. As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old male driver from Brantford has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 139 km/h in an 80 km/h posted speed zone

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation. A court date has been set for the driver to attend Brantford Provincial Court regarding the charges.
