Brant OPP22-year-old facing Speeding and Stunt Driving charges

Officers were monitoring traffic on Highway 24 near Ellis Avenue when a southbound vehicle was observed traveling at an extremely high rate of speed at 12:31 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025.

Radar confirmed the vehicle’s speed at 154 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old male driver from Brantford has been charged with:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed
  • Speeding – 154 km/h in a 110 km/h Zone

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days as per legislation.
