Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Monday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m.

Currently, there are 85 total active cases with 36 new cases being reported in the last 72 hours and one hospitalization.

Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 4,255 total confirmed cases, 4,135 total resolved cases and 29 deaths.

In other COVID-19-related news, Grand Erie District School Board announced there were two elementary school cases in the district in the last 24 hours, including 1 positive case at Lakewood Elementary, and 1 positive cases at Branlyn Community School, with a COVID-19 outbreak declared at the school.
