Welcome to the Men Ending Trafficking Family and Friends Charity Rafting Challenge, where adventure meets charity on the scenic waters of the Grand River!

Get ready for a day of excitement, laughter, and bonding as we navigate the twists and turns of this iconic river, all in the name of stopping human trafficking in our province and across this country. This isn’t just your typical rafting excursion—it’s a chance for us to come together, raise funds, enjoy the great outdoors, and make a positive impact.

As teams or participants paddle downstream, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the support of fellow participants, you’ll be raising essential funds for Men Ending Trafficking, its programs, and most importantly the individuals it supports.

M.E.T. Paddle for Purpose fundraising challenge is helping provide aid to victims impacted by the crime of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Your support will:

-Aid the M.E.T. carefully selected volunteer team in providing safety, assurance, emotional support, and a barrier for victims testify against their trafficker in court.

-Relocate victims and their family members from a hazardous living condition to a safe environment.

-Deliver awareness and advocacy messaging designed to detour the funding of human trafficking.

Event Date is Saturday August 10th, 2024, launch times starting at 9:30 am.
Registration opens May 17th, 2024. Registration and Top Fundraising Team T-shirt Award Deadline August 1st 2024.

Location is Brant Park, 119 Jennings Rd, Brantford, ON. Parking is part of your registration, this is the rafting end point. A vehicle provided by Grand River Rafting Company will take participants to launch point and you will paddle back to this location. Map and details will be provided.

So, gather your crew, from grandparents to little ones, from 1 to many, and embark on this unforgettable journey down the Grand River. Together, let’s create cherished memories and leave a legacy of compassion and generosity.
