I would like to invite you to attend an event that I’m hosting within Brantford, Ontario to come out and enjoy yourself at this memorable Beer Call, which will begin at the monument of Capt Richard Steven Leary, who lost his life in Afghanistan on the 3rd of June, 2008. It will mark the 15th anniversary of his passing, and will give us all a time to reflect what he has done for his Country, family, and the Regiment. We will all join in Regimental Traditions, but I am hoping to put a bit of a twist towards the event, by having members of the Legion and possibly some Political leaders from Brantford/Brant area, to join us in celebration, as we remember the sacrifice that this man, has given for his Country. So I would like to encourage you to attend. The event will be from 1pm until 430pm on the 3rd of June, 2023, at the Royal Canadian Legion at 9 Tolgate Rd, Brantford Ontario.
