Plus, keep an ear out for special guest performances from other Fall Fusion instructors throughout the evening!
ABOUT THE ROSS MILLER TRIO:
In his high energy, traditional Scottish music trio Ross Miller is joined by Charlie Stewart on Fiddle and Graeme Armstrong on Guitar. The trio completed a successful UK in late 2025 and can’t wait to play their first ever Canadian show at Fall Fusion.
Charlie Stewart is a fiddle and bass player from Glenfarg, Perthshire currently based in Glasgow. Charlie enjoys performing internationally with a variety of artists including Siobhan Miller, Matt Carmichael, Juliette Lemoine, Mischa MacPherson and Naad-Hara. His freelance work has seen him record with over 30 artists to date. Highlights as a solo artist include a New Voices commission for Glasgow’s Celtic Connections, performing at Proms in the Park and gaining the title of ‘BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year’.
Graeme Armstrong, a singer and guitarist from the Scottish Borders, has performed at major international festivals and gained recognition as a member of Talisk, who won Folk Band of the Year at the 2017 MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards and later the Belhaven Bursary Award. Their 2019 album Beyond received critical acclaim, including multiple five-star reviews and a “Top of the World” accolade, establishing Armstrong as a leading figure in the UK traditional music scene. Alongside collaborations, including co-founding the Rachel Hamer Band, he released his debut solo album You Are Free in 2022. The album offers a deeply personal and expressive insight into his life, blending rich instrumentation with emotive, forward-thinking arrangements.
The Ross Miller Trio performs original compositions and exciting, modern arrangements of traditional Scottish music with high quality piping at the forefront.
