Join Arcady on August 10 at 4pm at the award-winning botanical gardens, Whistling Gardens, for a breathtaking celebration of Arcady’s 2024 RBC Emerging Artists. This year, Arcady is especially honoured to feature soprano Ekaterina Shelehova, whose YouTube videos have garnered millions of views. Public performances of Ekaterina are extremely rare, especially in Canada, and audiences will be treated to her newest song “Fly Away.” Emerging Artists Showcase will feature four additional young artists who have delighted local and international audiences with their magnificent voices. These include Katherine Barr, Douglas Graham, Marcel van Helden, and Brantford baritone Jochamin Verdonk. Tickets to Emerging Artist Showcase are $37 (general) $15 (under 18) by emailing info@arcady.ca, calling (519) 428-3185, or from Whistling Gardens’ Garden Centre (open Wed-Sun, 9:30am-5pm). Tickets to Emerging Artist Showcase include a same-day pass to the botanical gardens and fountain shows. A rain date is scheduled for August 11 at 4pm.
