Arcady invites you to Bridging the Eras on June 1, 2024, at 7:30pm at Central Presbyterian Church in Brantford. This concert will be a unique celebration of music by Ontario’s legacy and new generation composers, including Walter MacNutt, Godfrey Ridout, and Healey Willan. Arcady is especially honoured to premiere a new piece by the inaugural winner of the Walter MacNutt Prize, Ronald Beckett. All of these spectacular works will be presented to you by Arcady’s professional chorus, youth chorus, and string quinet. Also included in this event will be Arcady’s annual silent auction. It will feature spectacular workmanship from the finest local artists, along with gift cards to Brantford’s small businesses and prints of stunning art and nature photography. This concert will be the final event at Central Presbyterian Church, a center that has been devoted to community service for nearly a century. Tickets $35 General admission; $12 under 18.
