The Langford Conservancy will host Dr. Catharine Wilson speaking about her book “Being Neighbours” on cooperative work bees and reciprocity in rural Ontario through 1830-1960’s. The Langford Conservancy is working to create a museum with a rural archive of records from the area, so community members are encouraged to share old photos, histories, and artifacts from the Langford community. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. The event is free but donations are welcome. Copies of the book will also be available for purchase at the event.
