“Join us at the Woodland Cultural Centre for the Annual Smoke Dance Competition happening August 19th from 1:00 – 3:00! Registration at the Centre is from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. We’re offering cash prizes to the winner of all age groups.
If you are interested in entering the Smoke Dance Competition, here are the categories:
Tiny Tot (5 Years and Under)
Jr. (6-12 Years)
Teens (13-17 Years)
Adults (18-44 Years)
Golden Age (45+ Years)
Please note: All dancers should be dressed in regalia when they register.
There will be an Indigenous Market and food trucks on-site for the day! We encourage you to bring cash for easy payment to vendors. No ATMs on site!
